FBI Arrests! FOX Exclusive – More than a Dozen Suspected “Anonymous” Hackers Arrested in Nationwide Sweep!

FBI launches an international sweep on Anonymous Hackers…over a dozen suspects arrested! 

From Fox….More than a dozen suspected members of “Anonymous” were arrested this morning in states including Florida, New Jersey and California, in what appears to be a nationwide takedown of the notorious hacking group, FoxNews.com has exclusively learned.

The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into Anonymous, which has claimed responsibility for numerous cyberattacks against a variety of websites including Visa and Mastercard.

Legislation Promotes Rotational Assignments for DHS and Other Security Positions On June 24, lawmakers in the House of Representatives and Senate introduced companion legislation that would rotate Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and national security managers and executives through different agencies in an effort to boost efficiency and communication.

U.S. “Within Reach” of Breaking Al-Qaeda, Panetta Says U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta on Saturday said the country’s forces were “within reach” of completely breaking al-Qaeda, and that between 10 and 20 senior operatives of the terrorist network are targeted for elimination or capture, the Washington Post reported..

 FBI Teams with 12 Countries to Disrupt International Cyber Crime Rings Distributing “Scareware”  The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), along with 12 international law enforcement partners, announced the results of Operation Trident Tribunal, which targets international cyber crime. Two individuals from Latvia were indicted and over 40 computers, servers and bank accounts were seized as a result of the operation.

Overview
